Automated ORB Trading: Alertsify and TradingView Futures

ORBLYTICS plans two separate paths: Alertsify for futures, stocks, options and spreads; TradingView for futures only through an independent broker bridge. Current saved-strategy validation is limited to supervised long stock and ETF setups through Alertsify.

Rules-first workflow

From saved rules to controlled automation

Each stage keeps its definition attached to the result, so a label, percentage, or historical comparison can be traced back to the rule that produced it.

01

Build the saved ORB system

Choose the ticker, opening-range window, break confirmation, retest, stop, target, timing, and exclusion rules that define the setup.

  • One versioned ruleset
  • Visible entry and exit logic
  • Historical context stays attached
02

Choose one execution path

Alertsify is the planned connector for futures, stocks, options and spreads. The separate TradingView path is futures-only and needs its own futures broker bridge. Today, the supervised Alertsify saved-strategy runner supports long stocks and ETFs.

  • Separate account connections
  • Asset-specific risk checks
  • No duplicate signal routes
03

Set entry and risk guardrails

Review limits for the selected asset and route. The current stock pilot checks share quantity, maximum entry value, planned stop-risk budget, daily realized-loss limit, daily trade cap, and target.

  • Asset-specific risk
  • Daily lockouts
  • Rules-change review
04

Arm, monitor, or stop

Activate only the validated route and account. Pause new entries, inspect signals and broker fills, and request a confirmed emergency exit when needed.

  • Explicit opt-in
  • Durable event timeline
  • Separate emergency action

Questions

What this ORB workflow does—and does not do

Direct answers for traders comparing tools, definitions, and historical evidence.

01Which two automation paths does ORBLYTICS plan?+

ORBLYTICS to Alertsify targets futures, stocks, options, and option spreads. ORBLYTICS to TradingView is futures only and uses a separate futures broker execution bridge; it does not pass through Alertsify. Those asset lists describe the product plan. Current Alertsify saved-strategy validation supports long stocks and ETFs only, and the TradingView rule-export experience is not released.

02Does ORBLYTICS turn automation on automatically?+

No. Every member starts off. The first activation requires a reviewed configuration and explicit confirmation. A later rules change requires another review before new entries can resume.

03What does turning Auto Trading off do?+

It stops new entries. It does not pretend an open position disappeared. The runner continues reconciling and managing an existing ORBLYTICS trade; emergency exit is a separate confirmed action.

04Which strategies can the Alertsify runner automate?+

The current saved-strategy runner is limited to supported long stock and ETF ORB setups. Futures, short entries, options automation, copy subscriptions, and arbitrary AI-generated trades are outside this workflow.

05Are the current Alertsify stock stops and targets broker-held orders?+

No. The current stock runner manages exits from completed one-minute market data. A service, data, or provider outage can delay exit handling, and the planned risk amount is not a guaranteed loss cap. Each future asset and broker path needs its own verified protection behavior.

06Does broker acceptance mean the order filled?+

No. ORBLYTICS reconciles the canonical order, fills, positions, fees, and final quantity. Ambiguous outcomes pause new entries and require broker reconciliation instead of an automatic retry.

07What must be ready before automation can start?+

The member needs active access, a supported saved ruleset, an owned managed Alertsify account, live data, an enabled supervised rollout, execution exception delivery, and a healthy runner. Broker-native protection remains unverified, so unattended launch is blocked.
